The Anti-Paternalistic Tenant

I'm really anti-paternalistic, probably more so than any of your listeners. But I still think you end up with some correlation between people's votes and their sort of like implicit values. Even if people were so ignorant and poor at reasoning that their vote had no correlation with their values, that there would still be a problem with taking that vote away from them. And then what's left over is letting more competent people decide.
