LZ Granderson: You're going to go to Texas at Austin, I'm coming from Austin. And your kid, even though he or she is classified as Asian, is probably going to get in based on extracurriculars test scores because affirmative action is not as much a problem in that sense. But yeah, like UT Austin considered an elite school at that point, it matters. LZ: In the broader sense of historically the United States being founded on the principle of equality of opportunity and, you know, the principle of color blindness that's enshrined in the Constitution,. So in that sense, I think this matters for all of us.
