Anthony McGraw was arrested and claimed he was totally innocent. But detectives found that the reality of his life was significantly different to the perception he tried to create. He had made three fraudulent mortgage applications to secure more than £1 million on their two houses by inflating the couple's earnings. These well planned and sophisticated fraudulent mortgage applications gave him £974,144 in Lloyd's bank loans between 2012 and 2015. It also transpired that McGraw was in fact a 007 wannabe, a James Bond wannabe who called himself Paddy Bond as he had a string of affairs behind his wife's back. His friends and acquaintances spoke of him as an incredibly arrogant and boastful man
