The History of Villas in Britain

Most of the villas that we see in Britain are a result of an evolution of the sites through time. Moving from iron-age-style landscapes dominated by round houses usually in enclosed settlements to building in timber then in stone and the stone buildings gradually growing as the estate becomes more wealth more profitable.
