The Ethics of Violence and Civic Discourse

This chapter examines the morality of violent actions against tyrants through the lens of the hypothetical scenario of killing Hitler. It discusses the normalization of political violence, especially in the context of recent political confrontations, and critiques the media's role in fuelling extreme rhetoric that could incite real-world violence. Personal experiences of violence during protests are shared, highlighting the emotional and physical impacts of such incidents in today's charged political environment.
