The Impact of the First Conservation Act on Forest Rights
How will this bill affect the livelihood rights of forest willing communities in general? I think there have been a lot of submissions that have gone to the joint parliamentary committee as well. A restricted definition of the first conservation act actually is by the government is seen as good for administrative and bureaucratic procedures because it's very clear what it applies on and what it doesn't apply on. It also restricts the number of multiple claims and for rights claims that could come on that land.
