The Murugupan Family Are Back in Bilawila
The Murugupan family are asylum seekers. Priya and Nadez came to Australia by boat from Sri Lanka. They were given permission to live in the Queensland town of Bilawila for a little while. The Australian government decided that because of the way they came to Australia, they weren't allowed to stay. Their friends back in Bilawila kept campaigning for them to be allowed back home. Here this month Priya, Nadez, Kopika and Tarnika were allowed back to Bilawila. Now the family hopes they will be allowed to become permanent residents, which means they can live in Australia forever.
