I was with the Army for five years as a civilian employee, and I designed user interfaces. We designed things for soldiers to be able to inventory weapons over in Iraq and Afghanistan. It's easy to get in your own head about creating something that's beautiful but we're also designing for people. Do you have advice on being more empathetic?
