Mycenaean Palaces

The iconography of the palaces is remarkably uniform throughout Greece. The private quarters of the royal family were presumably located on the second floor. Although they had fewer rooms, the Mycenaean palaces boasted such Minoan achievements as indoor plumbing and beautiful wall paintings. Linear B tablets helped to shed light on the Mycenean palaces system of administration.
