The Importance of Hearing the Gospel With Faith

Pastor John: In Galatians 2, Paul says there are no preconditions for the receiving of the Holy Spirit. He says when Peter in Antioch was eating with Gentiles in all freedom, he was walking in sync with the Gospel. But then came James and other men who were out of line; they cut him off from his fellow Christians. Pastor John: You don't attain the benefits of the gospel by doing a little moral cleanup job on your life. Forgiveness cleans it,. cleansing, joy, peace, power. You obtain all that by faith in the gospel.
