i think that this is instructive in terms of how poorly, i mean to make it about our theme, right? Like how poorly these two have rehabilitated with one another. It seems like they are past the point of the potential for reconciliation and forgiveness. In theory, now that they're colleagues, they should be able to find a new way to be together. And snape is just completely failing at that.
