The Challenges of Social Media and Climate Disinformation

I want to talk a bit about social media in particular, as you brought up there. You know, I think it often is the bad guy for societies ills these days,. But it's been painted as such for a few reasons to do with how information spreads on various platforms. They allow a single individual to potentially reach millions. It removes the gatekeepers that mainstream media provide to offer a level of quality control. And so they have this built in incentive to have misinformation spreading through their platforms.
