Introduction
In new south wales alone, there are more than 50 thousand people in need of affordable housing. Rents and house prices have ballooned there over the last years, far above the national average. But all throughout this, despite the estate in waterloo becoming extraordinarily valuable, the public housing towers have remained providing affordable housing to thousands of tenants since the 19 seventies.
