The FBI Office of Counter-Terrorism Is Trying to Give It to the Attorney General's Office
In 2004, when Abu Ghraib first broke, Richard Fuse was one of the very few people who knew it was happening. He had contacted the United Nations Security Council saying that this needed to be stopped right now. But he says John Ashcroft's office gave him a different phone number for the Justice Department. So we made an end run around this guy, even though he was very uncooperative. We still got the broadcast alert out.
