Why Aren't Stepping Stones So Important?
In the early 19 hundreds, albert einstein goes, hey, i can use this to build out a theory of gravity. The pieces were there, and there was no reason to build those, those stepping stones, other than sheer interest. This illustrates why interestingnessis soimportant. It's very important that people thought that that kind of mathematics was interestingor for something hundreds of years later. And in a lot of our institutions, i think, suffer because of ignoring this question.
