The Importance of Music in Hip Hop
There's always a takeaway music for me. I fundamentally, it's hard for me not to listen to music and hear it from a place of like, what can I get from this? Even if I don't particularly like, enjoy the song as a whole, there's always something to learn from every piece of music. And so, you know, that era, I loved a lot of those records. There was so much in terms of ambience and vibe and mood that I thought was really interesting to hear.
