If you want to have success in something, you need to focus really deeply and single-mindedly on one thing. Fewer things, the better. So going deep and narrow on something is a very goal-oriented attitude to life. However, wide and shallow, it's like a shotgun shooting bullets all over the place. But we can look at a few examples now to make it a bit easier.
