In our study, 100% of the individuals that were autopsy had left ventricular hypertrophy. In fact, the left ventricle myocardium thickness was about 125% bigger than the reference. So as a weight lifter, we know that there are physiological changes because of chronic valsalva. The heart becomes a better pump. But if you have a thickening of the wall and the sinus is getting smaller, that's pathology. It's actually improving health.
