Saint Paul, Minnesota-based artist nobody likes you pat, the moniker for singer-songwriter Pat Kiloran, is thrilled to share his new EP dear… via Nettwerk. Known for his moving melodies and stimulating lyrics, Pat brings a renewed introspective and intimate quality to his latest project.
dear… is a collection of close-to-the-vest tracks that encapsulate the multifaceted experiences and emotions that not only has shaped Pat’s musical journey, but his personal one as well. After exploring new sounds and ideas, nobody likes you pat found himself at a crossroads, realizing that his true artistic essence lies in his blunt-yet-gentle narrative-driven lyricism. Inspired by this revelation, he embarked on a journey back to his roots, crafting songs that resemble intimate letters to his loved ones. From his wife to his best friends, his sons, and even to God, nobody likes you pat's dear… EP is a self-sacrificial presentation of the realities of life and its relationships. Stripped of artificial gloss and cinematic effects, these songs offer a genuine and meaningful experience for anyone in need of solace and connection.
Father, husband, singer, songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and mixer, Pat Kiloran grew up in St. Paul, MN, with detours in Canada, Los Angeles, and Nashville. Despite living in many areas, it was storytelling that had always stuck with Pat, no matter where he was going or coming from. Following his time as frontman of acclaimed band Milkk, he launched nobody likes you pat in 2021 with a pair of fan favorite EPs, namely, now that I’m here, i feel like myself EP and spinning EP. Signing to Nettwerk, 2022 saw him unveil his full-length debut imago. During the creative process of making imago, Pat had spent a lot of time thinking of his family and friends. In his case, those thoughts turned into breezy, bold, and bright indie pop anthems rooted in relatable Americana-style storytelling and stitched together with homegrown production. nobody likes you pat has garnered 12M+ cumulative streams and has been featured on Spotify’s Next Gen Singer-Songwriters, Warm Fuzzy Feeling, and Sommer Chillout playlists. Leading up to the release of last year’s imago, Pat carefully and quietly assembled a collection of songs that would eventually serve as the dear… EP. Each song unfurls with the cadence and intimacy of a handwritten letter directly from the heart.
