Are the Gnostics the Antichrist?

The gnostics were the antichrist. That's a misconception people still have, which i don't understand. The early church was very adamant that jesus was a material person. And they're certainly slammed in the book of revelation. I mean, the gospel of john was first used by the gnostics. Paul was first t use by the gnostic sect back in those times. So, ye, it's that theme of hybridity, that ou can actually be against something, but you're kind of using their own ideas.
