Is There a Divide Between Home Front and Front Line?
All these poems, i should say, were chosen because they were forms of protest by the poet who is on the front line. So it was very specific why i chose a language in a form that was made by the mouth. And that also gets at something that is so evocative, that you talk about also as your work as an artist, of ing back through time. Every generation of warriors, comments on the gulf tey feel when they come back. So could i at least try to heal that divide and that'?...
