The defense argued against the admissibility of some of the Crown's evidence. The judge determined it wasn't relevant to whether or not there was intent to commit murder. Other post-defense conduct included Brian had moved furniture and bedding in Qian's room. But this had no relevance as to whether Brian had intent to murder.
