Acceleration and the Soleus Are More Important Than the Knee Joint

supingshan: I had always thought, to a degree, om that accelerate, or early acceleration, like the first few steps, that that the knee joint was a lot more important there. But then once you really got moving in more'n a upright velocity, that's when those forces on the feet and calf got higher. And it fits with a few things that i've been thinking about lately. The soleus is a more of a bent knee calf muscles. In acceleration, you have more, you're dealing with more bent leg angles.
