Josh Powell's Bizarre Timekeeping

In his first interview, Josh Powell told Detective Maxwell that he'd last seen Susan at around midnight on Sunday. He also said that shortly after, in the middle of the night, he'd left Susan at home ill to take his sons Charlie and Braden on a last minute camping trip. The next day, Josh's questionable timekeeping came back into play when he arrived for his police interview for hours late. His mum, Terica and sister Jennifer had watched him aghast as he spent the morning deep cleaning both the house and his minivan.
