How Do You Use EHRs to Detect Diseases?
There's no doubt that much of our if not all of our medical data is in computers now. You can apply code to people's medical records and ask over and over again, conceptually, can I do anything better for this person? So you can look to precedents in other areas and then just do like a copy on what they did and then there's some confidence. The initial reason for this is to take care of patients, but there are these secondary uses for discovery, for diagnosis of difficult to diagnose diseases.
