The Right Joint at the Right Time

We can't mobilize that collective action if there's not a collective identity. And something that's happened over the last century or so is all of our imagined communities have disintegrated, and were just left with, like, i'm an individual consumer with no attachment to other people. So these collective action problems, which are like choking us at the moment, are collective identity problems. I think that’s whata sane reaction to climate change and echological disaster looks like, is the ability to move the right joint at the right time.
