Schopenhauer's Pessimism

Schopenhauer's project is a continuation and indeed the culmination, of that two world's dualism of western philosophy. Nica also rejects romanticism by arguing that what he was looking for in romanticism he found to be ultimately opposed to his project. And so this is from niche's 18 86 preface to the birth of tragedy. The second passage concerns itself with that pessimistic label, which comes a year earlier, in 18 86.
