Is Creighton Going to Increase Your Total Body Water?

Creatine increases total body water, as does carbohydrate loading. Some athletes are conscious of their weight at particular times leading up to events and often avoid Creighton in fear that it will lead to water retention. The real scientific issue that hasn't been addressed is that some of this weight gain would be metabolically enhanced tissue for lack of a better expression. In endurance sports, if you lose maybe one or two percent of your body weight, you're probably more efficient and even faster over a long, long race.
