Jimmy Hendrix opened for the Monkeys on a tour in March and April. The four men would now work as individuals, producing their own tracks occasionally without help from other members of the group. Nesmith's first solo album was an instrumental version of his songs called The Witch It Our Train Whistle Singings. How Blaine In Is Orteography claimed that the album was created as a tax fighter for Nesmith though he always vehemently denied it.
