The Origin of the Nervous System

I was speaking to a third year bio neuroscience student in university and I said, well, do you know what the origin of the nervous system even is? And she's like, no, like, would you know where the first neuron was ever found? So was it a worm? Was it the discovery of the worm from? So the single neuron was first discovered in the jellyfish. But in any case, the amazing thing was the neuron in the jelly fish morphed into what I believe is multiple jellyfish on top of each other, forming the worm. Then we have the first neural network. So the first brain is actually in the worm where it's a network of one neuron to the
