The Cost of Going to an IIT
95 or 97 percent of the cost of going to an IIT is paid by the government. One student for one year IIT cost the government 50 lakhs. It may cost you 3 full lakhs if you are general category. So the government is spending 4000 crores on the J and V's and 8000 crores onThe IITs okay and these two systems are not really linked there are independent systems.
