The Different Festivals in the South and the North

The tomb sweeping festival that we are observing today is actually a combination of two sort of different festivals. So there's a tuning festival that started over, I think, 2000 or more than way more than 2000 years ago and the clear and bright day. It was first just one of the 24 solar terms. But later on, because it falls so closely to this festival called Hinesh festival, which is basically means the cold food festival. The custom of the Chimming Festival back then, or even today, includes tomb sweeping and offering sacrifices to ancestors.
