John McAfee's Story About the Bankruptcy

John McAfee has repeatedly and openly claimed that these stories about the collapse of his fortune were all lies told to protect himself from frivolous lawsuits against him. In 2017, he told ABC News in an interview, quote, I've had 200 lawsuits in my life because my name is John McAfee. He moved into a beachside mansion in Belize at an expat-heavy community called Ambergris Kay. There he launched a cigar company, coffee company, and a water taxi company. But it's just as likely that this was part of some scheme to hide his money.
