The Death of Peggy Perez-Olivos

Detective Simmons chased down the Alio Cruz lead and came away convinced that he had nothing whatsoever to do with the shooting. Could he arrange a hit from prison? I don't know if it's as easy to do as maybe movies or television have it portrayed to do but we're unable to corroborate that this individual was able to mastermind this. But perhaps the most important point the defense wanted the jury to take away was that Carlos Perez-Olivos family and friends believed that he was incapable of killing Peggy, the woman he loved. His sister even testified on behalf of her brother-in-law.
