Are There Any Cultural Differences Between Europe and the US?

Petra: I think networking is something that comes easier when you kind of having this US cultural background. People tend to be so curious about other people and all these kinds of things, right? Where Europeans, especially the ones that are more north of the European continent, there's so much heads down and so much working all day long. They think in the US it's way more common to have nice team events and to maybe even already have something like product organization communities. Maybe it's not so focused on the learning bit, but people tend to hang out with each other more.
