Soo-neck says we need to hold our nerve on NHS waiting list, promising a sort of jam tomorrow. But waiting lists are at record levels with junior doctors and consultants have more strikes coming up in the immediate future. Will this even make a dent before the election? Or is it basically a teenager just shouting, all right, my mum, I'm doing it from their bedroom? Yes, it's too late,. Too late to see any real action, turning around an institution of the size of the NHS with the level of investment necessary. It's a long, long-term project. Even Starmer's team are going to be worried about whether they can make any dent in it
