AI and the Nuclear Escalation Risk
I think it certainly has that potential. As we've seen over the last several decades, we're deep into the precision guided-munition revolution. It's not a very far intellectual leap to imagine that if you apply AI to your conventional capabilities, that it could have a corresponding impact on nuclear escalation risk. I would add that assessing what that risk is gets more complicated because you're using AI.
