The Importance of Walking on the High Places
The ibex has a cleft foot that when it spreads wide it distributes their weight. It reveals rubbery treads that can grip rock. But the reason they can do this is because of their feet. And what does God enable the prophet to do? It's to walk on the high places. This is not a removal of the mountain, but an ability to scale it.
