The History of Bitcoin

In order to understand what is bitcoin unique, we need to look at what makes a good money. If you look at the history of the things that get chosen as money, it is usually the hardest thing to produce. People who store their wealth in a form of money that maintains its value over time will end up with more wealth than people who store it in an easy-to-produce currency.
