I feel like there's two different issues which one is authenticating sources of content that don't but just because you've authenticated the stores doesn't mean the contents any good as we found out. I have very mixed feelings about centralizing identity around any single identifier and I think it would have to be governmental ultimately even if it's even right now it tends to be more private than current systems. People will start claiming to have you know multiple selves too so that can't I be two people in the next decade or two says Adhar.
