The Handmaid's Tale: Is Religion Just a Cloak?
The United States never had a religious war. They wanted freedom to worship so that people would not murder one another in the name of having one religion conquer over another religion. And I think the thing to ask about about religion is not what religion do you practice, but how are you practicing it? Are you practicing it to harm other people? Or are youpracticing it as a form of support and consolation for yourself? There's a big difference.
