The idea that's this notion of a social hierarchy of domination and of penetration is still active today. We see it back in the end of the second millennium BCE, the beginning of the first millennium BCE in Mesopotamia,. We see it in Talmudic literature a thousand years later. This is something that people are aware of and something that is important within literature, within society for thousands of years. And so this is what's governing what people think of as appropriate and inappropriate sexual acts.
