How to Avoid Sleep Inertia

If you're going to nap during the daytime, there's a few simple rules that I like everybody to do. Pick the right time and don't go over 20 minutes. Set an alarm on your phone if you can take these shorter 20, 25 minute naps. If you don't feel comfortable, have a napping partner. Remember, you're the most vulnerable you can possibly be when you are asleep.
