The Ramblers and the War on Drugs
The ramblers put up fliers and wrote messages in chalk on the roads to advertise the protest. The next sunday, walkers gathered in a quarry at the foot of kinder scout. Benny rothman was amazed by the turnout. There were far more people than we expected. We had a membership in the hale of lancashire of about a hundred and 50 to two members.
