Synovial Condromatosis - How Do You Treat It?

The synovial condromatosis is a really interesting disease process. It's a metoplastic process that goes in three phases. In the first phase, the synovium of the TMJ starts to undergo metaplasia. And then as it continues to do this in the second phase, it sprouts off these little buds of cartilage and bone into the joint space. This can cause problems if you've got a bunch of rocks in your joint space.
