Can a Mille Thread Work?
Mille begins when a character crosses the threshold and it ends er. You end that thread when the character succeeds in exeting their transition. But can you have a mille thread where the character does not get out of wherever it is that they are in? Is that possible? Yes. It is extremely tricky to pull off in a satisfying way.
