I think that's part of what's driving female dissatisfaction at the moment. It's partly to do with porn culture or sharing my get onto changing the sort of sexual script in a way that women don't like. And it's also just to do with it being really hard to kind of find a happy relationship when you have this dysfunctional essentially polygamous system going on.

Ditching the stuffy hang-ups and benighted sexual traditionalism of the past is an unambiguously positive thing. The sexual revolution has liberated us to enjoy a heady mixture of erotic freedom and personal autonomy. Right? Wrong, argues Louise Perry in her provocative new book.
