"We're taught to say please and thank you, but we don't know what to do when somebody is grieving or dealing with a significant death," she says. One of the key things as we think about helping kids through grief is to keep those, the people they've lost alive through remembering them and doing things like that. "I would just say as much support as this family can call on, they absolutely should."
