What Is Subjectivation in Anti-Fascism?
The notion of subjectivation, I just wanted to be clear because that sounds like jargon, is a notion of creating new bonds of solidarity and collective self recognition. Fannan's talking about the circuit of recognition among the oppressed or marginalized themselves. What they're doing is constituting themselves as subjects. So things we might view as quote unquote failures in the liberal circuit of recognition are not failures for an anti-fascism group. And I think that's an extremely important point to Fannan.
