The Teacher's Role in the Teachings
Rinpoche: "I'm neither a teacher nor a student, but if you don't commit yourself to one stance or another until before you've reached that point. Then you're trying to kind of, you keep trying to co-opt" If the teachings are in fact the spark that cuts through ego, that steps out of ego's manipulation, that goes beyond the students or the practitioners desire to see something... That spark has to be completely spontaneous.
